this question might be stupid, but what happens when an inductive load is connected? How to protect the 2-channel mosfet from the fly-back voltage?

Hi Havel,

This app note may be useful: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua793/slua793.pdf It is for a similar device, the BQ77905 and has a section on FET selection that discusses transients. The recommendation is to select a FET that can handle at least double the battery voltage.
