LM2596: LM2596 high current noise and voltage drop too high

Part Number: LM2596

Hi,

I am using lm2596 ready module for quick solution. I get 5V at the output using 12 or 24V from the input. Because I'm feeding raspberry on the output side.

Before trying it on raspberry, I connected and tested a fixed 2.2 ohm load and saw that it was working more stable.

Figure 1: LM2596

I connected an oscilloscope to 5v. And I share what I observed. I transfer images in real time with Raspberry Pi.

Figure 2: When there is image transfer

Figure 3: voltage ripple in normal state

Figure 4: In some cases, the voltage may be too low. Ex. 2.87V

How can I prevent these voltage drops? I don't know how I can find a solution since the design of the board is not mine.

Also, When it starts to draw more current,(for ex. When there is image transfer)  there is sound from the board. What is the reason for this and do you have any suggestions as a solution?

Can you help me?

Regards,

Mehmet
