Hi,
I'm new to USB type-C and would like some guidance regarding possible devices to use for my application. I'm designing what is basically a power bank, which should source and sink from the same SUB Type C connector. As said, it is just power delivery and power sink for charging. There is no communication involved. The maximum available power should be the full 100W.
I've been looking for possible devices but ended up confused as a lot of devices may be an overkill for my application given that I do not need USB type C data. Can someone please recommend devices and development boards specifically for bi-direction USB Type C PD?
Note: Most probably, I would need a boost circuit to generate the 20V since I'm running from a fixed supply. Does TI have bi-directional buck-boost converters which can be used in such an application?
Thanks
