TPS62147: Is it OK if Vout=5V while no Vin

Hi, Team

My customer wants to know - for TPS62147, if Vout is added external 5V while no Vin,  Is it OK?

Vin is connected with input caps and no other load. 

We are afraid that TPS62147 internal circuit has issue in this condition, such as fail to startup. 

Could you help to check? Thank you!

    Dong,

    This should be fine. The input voltage will be lower than the output voltage by high-side FET body-diode forward voltage drop. Since the voltage level is within the voltage rating, this should be fine. Also, TPS62147 is capable of starting up into a prebiased output.
