Hello Team,

I am designing a USB PD Type A and Type C Wall charger and have shortlisted on TPS55288 for the DC/DC buck boost. below is my requirement -

Vin - 2.7 - 24V

Vout - 5V, Iout - 2.4A

I took reference from TPS55288EVM-045 schematics but the vout is 0.8-20V/5A in CCM.

i need your help to suggest changes to be done to meet my required specs.

Hi Subhendu,

For your fixed 5V output application, actually you can use TPS552882. This is a non-I2C version of TPS55288.

And for the TPS55288, the default output voltage is 5V after start up.

Thanks for your reply.. thats really cool. but can i get the datasheet or CAD symbol or reference design on TPS552882, i did not find any of those docs on your website..
