In one of my application I am using the LM3405A current regulator.
I need to operate the device at current of 80mA which is lower that the recommended current (200mA). However I operate the deice for short pulse of ~0.5mS (so using the dimming is not an option). My question is what kind of performance should I expect in term of current stability and efficiency while working at 80mA output current with pulse operation of 0.5ms to 2ms, the pulse duty cycle is about 10%.
