UCC24612: Between VDD and VS by diode mode

Hi team,

 

Customer measure between  VDD and VS by a tester with diode mode.

The result is both 0.025 even if the polarity is changed.

 

Are there any possibility that the device is breaking down ?

    Hello,

    The UCC24612 should have an ESD diode on this pin which will measure 0.6 to 0.7V  When measure in the other direction it should look like an open.

    Are they testing this in circuit or out of circuit?  If they are testing this in circuit maybe there is something shorting the VDD pin to VS.  I would have them double check this.

    If the UCC24612 tests this way out of circuit most likely the IC has been damaged.
