TPS2372: TPS2372 CLSA and CLSB problems

Hi,

As shown in the datasheet, CLSA (first and second class event) and CLSB (third and any subsequent class event). As I understand, if it is class 0~4, The class is decided by the resistance of CLSA, Why should the resistance of CLAB keep same as CLSA in class 0~3? 

And When does this switch open and How is it controlled?

    As you noted in the block diagram,  only one class pin is used at a time, and internally one is disconnected while the other is being used. 

    Therefore, if the PD is class 0-4, then the class_B pin does not have to match. We do that for uniformity. 

    The pin switches over after Class 4. It is controlled by internal state engine.
