We met one cell imbalance issue in mongoose BBU recently. And can you help to confirm some questions as below:
We use LiFEPO4 cell. In sluua04d document, cell balancing chapter, it says a field updated QMax (Update Status = 0E) is required prior to any attempt of Cell Balance Time calculation. However, QMAX update condition has temperature requirement: 10-40C. And in our application, BBU ambient temp is 44C always. Does it mean QMAX can’t update in our using scenario and cell balance can’t work? That’s to say, if we have cell imbalance issue, BQ40Z60 can’t do anything? Do we have any method to resolve it?
