Trying to determine why the charger will not hold the charge at the set point
This is a brand new design. When powered on, the charger would charge to the setpoint of 23.4V and shut off. The load would slowly dissipate under a light internal load and when the capacitor bank reaced ~3.5V it would recharge and the cycle would start over again. The charge current is set to 150mA, There is no temp sensor used and a resistor divider was used, The setpoint is 23.4V with a 26.5V input voltage. Also, through review, a few more senior engineers said that the low drive mosfet was not needed so we have a reversed biased diode in place of the low drive fet
