REF102: REF102CU TOP marking

Part Number: REF102

Hi this is Karthikeyan from HCL.

We are using this part(REF102CU) in our new design. We have received this part on last week. We observed there is a top marking conflict. As per the data sheet information the top marking should be REF102UC. But in received part the marking is REF102U K. could you conform both top marking is same or not. Please find the attachment reference for actual received part.

  • Hi Karthikeyan,

The top mark for the REF102CU is below as per datasheet. The REF is on the top right. 102U in the middle. C on the left.

    "REF

    102U

    C"

If the device had a different accuracy grade it will be reflected on the top left.

The BB letters are for burr brown. The "K" is for assembly site. and the bottom is for lot code. The top mark is valid as it has the "REF 102 C" on the device. I would not include the K as part of the top mark code.
