BQ4050: BQ4050 thermistor sharing

Part Number: BQ4050

Hi,

We have a battery application that uses the BQ4050. We want to be able to split the battery thermistor signals to two different locations -- one going to the fuel gauge, and one to another microcontroller running supervisory duties. The BQ4050's built-in thermistor biasing is pulsed and therefore not suitable for the other microcontroller to use, since they cannot be synchronized. Is it possible to use an external 1.8V drive to constantly bias the thermistors, or provide some front-end circuitry to buffer the thermistor signal for the fuel gauge?

Thank you,
