TLV62565: Questions for Webench Sim & Vref data while PSM mode

Part Number: TLV62565

Hello team,

I got the questions from the customer about Webench sim. Could you support those below?

*Customer setting is that Vin:3.3V, Vout:1.5V, Rfbt: 180k, Rfbb: 120k

1: For load transient sim, Vout is a little bit high(1.518V). We assume that this is because of resistance tolerant, the Webench automatically select +1% for Rfbt, -1% for Rfbb. Is it possible to change the resistance tolerant variation while simulating load transient?

2: While the PSM mode, the Vfb should have +0.9% tolerance (type). Is it possible to change the Vfb tolerance value for load transient sim?

3: According to the Vfb, the typical value is 0.9%. Do we have any MAX/MIN data which can be sent to the customer?

I couldn't find any UI for #1,2 so the Webench doesn't have those, but just want to make sure.

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Kazuki Kitajima

  • Hi Kitajima-san,

Please see my comments below as highlighted.

1: For load transient sim, Vout is a little bit high(1.518V). We assume that this is because of resistance tolerant, the Webench automatically select +1% for Rfbt, -1% for Rfbb. Is it possible to change the resistance tolerant variation while simulating load transient? --> The FB resistor dividers can be change in Webench by clicking the resistor on the schematic diagram ("Customize" section) where you have options to select a part with the lowest tolerance.

2: While the PSM mode, the Vfb should have +0.9% tolerance (type). Is it possible to change the Vfb tolerance value for load transient sim? --> The VFB tolerance cannot be adjusted. If I know the customer transient load specs?  What is the rise and fall time of the transient load?

3: According to the Vfb, the typical value is 0.9%. Do we have any MAX/MIN data which can be sent to the customer? --> We can discuss this topic offline.

    Best regards,
