Yes you are correct. GaN allows reverse current flow even though there' no body diode. The advantage of lacking a body diode is there is no fixed reverse recovery loss associate with it. The third quadrant loss is depending on the amount of time the reverse current is following and switching frequency, and thus appropriately control the dead time could minimize the loss.

The reverse voltage drop of LMG5200 is 2V.
