Hi team,
my customer is seeing failures with a TPS2121 power mux. the issue was identified as a potential surge on the input pin IN2 exceeding 24V (max rating) from hot-plugging a cable.

the question is, is this be the right protection device for this application? how do you ID whether to use this vs a TVS diode?
note that the nominal load current at the TPS2121 output is only a couple hundred mA.
