TPS51206: Power down sequence

My customer has a design in which rails will be powered down in an uncontrolled order.

Any risk if VLDOIN is powered down before VDD?

Datasheet recommends powered down VDD before VLDOIN.

Hi Gregory,

It is fine to either power down VDD first or VLDOIN first. Both scenarios are fine.

What about the other rails? Any risks turning off any others in a particular uncontrolled sequence?

Hi Gregory,

No risk on TPS51206 side. You may need to check the sequence requirement from DIMM side.
