BQ25713: Enabling VBAT

Is there a way to set the voltage at the battery node to some value, say 4V, if battery is not installed? I have an on-board fuel-gauge I want to test even if no battery is installed.

Hi Elder,

There is option to set the BAT pin at a desire voltage with the pin floating. The simplest solution would be connecting a power supply at BAT and disable charging.
