UCC28056: Can UCC28056 configure to follower boost topology

Hi Expert,

The engineer is asking whether UCC28056 support the follower boost topology.

The 1st output voltage is 260V then turn to 380V.

The purpose is to get better efficiency.

Pls advice whether UCC28056 can support this or not?

If yes,pls advice us how to design UCC28056.

Hello,

Yes you can get the UCC28056 to work as boost follower.
