BQ24192: When the device switch from PWM mode to PFM

Hi,

I'm using BQ24192 in my design.

The Datasheet states " In order to improve light-load efficiency, the device switches to PFM control at light load when battery is below minimum system voltage setting or charging is disabled ".

What is the numeric definition to "light load"?
How many mA does the charger need to sense to switch from PWM mode to PFM mode? and back from PFM to PWM?

Hi,

It depends on the application and external components. It could be a few hundreds of mA or lower.

Hi Ning,

The part is being used as a 12,000mAh battery charger.
I need to know a more specific value where the switching occurs.
How can I get the information based on my design?

The transition should happen typically around 100mA.
