Hi Team,

My customer has some questions on the LM5066:

 (1) Can I use parallel Mosfets for LM5066? In our system the unit is working at around 50A continuously. If I am using a single Mosfet, the heat dissipation could be a problem. Doubling the Mosfet basically halves the power per mosfet.  I understand the unbalance during current/power limit, however, if I calculate transients based on a single mosfet, it should be OK to use two?

(2) Doubling the mosfet basically slows gate rising speed since gate capacitance is doubled. Do you have a recommended limit for gate capacitance or it should be fine as long as we don't need gate rise fast?

(3) Our system is based on 40-54V with 3600W peak. I am planning to use a 0.5 ohm sensing resistor. Will it be a problem if the sensing resistor is that small?

(4) How about the Mosfet, do you have any recommendation for such high voltage/current wide SOA mosfet?
