I have a question for TP7A24.
My customer would like to confirm maximum acceptable ESR value of Cout because they have to add a series resistance to Cout for an explosion proof purpose.Could you tell me that?
I would have to check with our design team.

I apologize for the delayed response. Our design team came back with the following response:
'The TPS7A24 is stable with a minimum output capacitance of 0.5uF and an effective ESR up to 0.5Ohms.'
We do recommend 1uF X7R or X5R capacitor in the datasheet to have some margin and be sure that the effective capacitance of 0.5uF is met.
I hope this answers your question. By the way, I have added a new feature to our LDO quick search tool so that you can sort LDO's based on minimum capacitance.
This should make it easier to find the best LDO when supporting these types of applications.
