TPS63070: Alternative IC to TPS63070

Hi TI,

This Request is being raised as the TPS63070 is in QFN package and to avoid that package, im in search of an Alternative IC.

Actually I'm unable to find the best alternative IC to the TPS63070, Could you suggest the IC with SOC,TSSOP,PDIP package with the same functionality and Specs as of TPS63070.

Hi Helen Chen,

Thanks for your reply, Here goes the Specs,

Vin = 2V to 15V

Vout= 3V to 12V (Adjustable)

Iout = 2~3A

Iq= 3~10 mA

Switching Freq : >500kHz

Preferrred Package: TSSOP,SOT,DIP.

Vin=2V is such low, while need to output 2-3A current. I'm afraid there's no IC could support such application.

The best IC I can find is TPS55288/TPS552882, the minimum Vin is around 3V.

Why you need such low 2V input voltage?

Hi Shiva,

If your Vin>2.7V, then TPS55288/552882 is a good solution for you.
