Hi Team,
In BQ25619 datasheet, it mentions "SLEEP MODE" and "HIZ MODE".
What is the difference between these modes?
Could you kindly help explain?
Thanks very much!

Hi Eleven:
HIZ mode means the charger is programmed into HIZ mode with EN_HIZ=1.Even adaptor is plugged in, if EN_HIZ=1, the converter is in HIZ mode and converter will not operate. Sleep mode means VBUS < VBAT+VSLEEPZ, the device will not be enabled.

Hi Hong,
What is the detailed difference between "converter will not operate in HIZ mode" and "the device will not be enabled in sleep mode"?
What is the benifit from HIZ mode, low Iq_BUS?
BQ25619 has already connected to USB, why we need the low Iq_BUS?If a little higher Iq_BUS, is there any harm?
Thanks!

Hi Eleven:
There is no fundamental difference. In both conditions, the device is in HiZ mode, the device powers off.
That's a good question. As I know of, in some factory tests, the battery charger needs to be disabled by HiZ bit to disable power from adaptor and let the battery power the system to perform tests.
