TPS7A02: Output voltage issue on TPS7A0233PDBVR

Part Number: TPS7A02

Hi TI Team,

I have bought TPS7A0233PDBVR from TI E store.

I am getting an output of 3.97V [ on pin 5, of the SOT -23, 5 pin package], instead of 3.3V from the chip. Input voltage is 4.8V.

Have used 1uF ceramic caps on both input and ouput.

I am using the 2.8V variant from same family, TPS7A0228PDBVR, and that chip gives  a steady 2.8V output voltage, from the same input voltage source of 5V.

I assume the chip is faulty.

Please suggest any remedies.

Best Regards
