TPS62230: Extending soft start time in TPS62231

Hi team,

My customer is going to use TPS62231. They wants to extend the start up time to reduce the inrush current.

Do you think below method in below application note works for TPS62231 as well?

Hello Saito-san,

TPS62230 is a fixed output voltage where FB pin is directly connected to the output so there is no possibility to implement the capacitor and diode network.

Can your customer use a device in WCSP package? TPS62802 has a soft start time of 400us (typical) which will definitely reduce the inrush current. Please see attached datasheet for reference.
