TPS546D24A: how to decide Vmax and Vmin through Table 13

Part Number: TPS546D24A

Hi team,

Rtop is 40200  and Rbot is 12100 for VSEL. The R2G code is Code 5 and devider code is Code 1 in Table 17. How to find the Vmax and Vmin in Table 13? I saw the title of Table 13 is Resistor to AGND code, but in the table, it shows Resister divider code.

Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion of the title.  The left most column of Table 13 is correctly labeled as "Divider Code" which, in your design case, is 1 and selects a VOUT_MIN value of 0.5 and VOUT_MAX value of 1.5.

For all VOUT values up to 1.19V, plus the Rtop "one" option for 1.2V, VOUT_MIN = 0.5V and VOUT_MAX = 1.5V

    For all VOUT values from 1.2V to 2.38V programmed with a resistor divider, VOUT_MIN = 1V and VOUT_MAX = 3V

    For all VOUT values above 2.4V, VOUT_MIN = 2V and VOUT_MAX = 6V

    For Pin Programming options, when VOUT_SCALE_LOOP = 0.5, VOUT_MIN = 0.5 and VOUT_MAX = 1.5

    when VOUT_SCALE_LOOP = 0.25, VOUT_MIN = 1 and VOUT_MAX = 3

    when VOUT_SCALE_LOOP = 0.125, VOUT_MIN = 2 and VOUT_MAX = 6

VOUT_MIN and VOUT_MAX can be adjusted through PMBus programming and stored to NVM via PMBus one the TPS546D24A has powered up.  To restore VOUT_COMMAND, VOUT_MIN and VOUT_MAX from NVM, make sure to set the VOUT bit in PIN_DETECT_OVERRIDE = 0b
