TPS61280: output error

Part Number: TPS61280

I use tps61280 for design. When debugging, I use DC power supply to input 3.6V voltage. After power on, it starts to output normal 4V. After about 1 minute, the output becomes 0. Vsel is connected to GND and en nbyp is high. The following picture is the schematic diagram and register settings, please help to analyze the reason?

1. Does this behavior happen on several boards or only on board? Could it be replicated every time?

2. Can you share the layout?

3. Have you tried restart the device again? Could it output 4V again? If not, is the device failed?

My test found that EN has a low level of tens of milliseconds. My analysis led to tps61280 entering shutdown mode. However, when I set EN and nBYP high, tps61280 still can't be started. Please help me analyze it?

Hi Ping,

How do you connect EN pin? Is it connected to a MCU GPIO pin?

You can try connect EN pin to external 3.3V power supply and see if EN will drop for tens of milliseconds.

If no issue happens, I think you may have to debug the MCU GPIO.
