Hi,

My customer considers using the TPS61390 as mic phantom power.

Can this device output 12mA on VIN=5V, VOUT=48V?

I inquiry because the output current is drawn by the only 10mA in figure 1 as below.

Dear Sir，

IF you just need to use TPS61391 as a boost, then it can output >25mA output current at Vin=5V/Vout=48V.

Please check the attached schematic of TPS61391 in pure boost application. 8228.TP61391 pure Boost.pdf

Hi Kuramochi-San,

>25mA is a test data. It is >30mA per bench test at normal temperature. Considering the derating at high temperature, we can guarantee 25mA at all condition.

Hi Kuramochi-San,

Figure 1 is tested under Vin=2.7-5V, Vo=60V.

When Vin is low, like 3V, the maximum output capability at Vo=60V is around 10mA.
