LM5146-Q1: Are overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown 100% tested?

Hi,

I am considering using the LM5146QRGYTQ1 device.
(Question)
Are the overcurrent protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD) listed in the data sheet electrical characteristics 100% tested?
Or is it a sampling inspection?

Kaji,

Every IC has to pass a test program, yes I believe current limit comparator is validated to within datasheet limits.

I dont think every IC is pushed to thermal shutdown. However I have no reason to believe thermal shutdown would fail.

Not to mention we run extensive high-temperature operating life (HTOL) reliability tests for AEC qualification.

As a reminder, I've recognized that current protection is 100% tested and thermal shutdown is a sampling test, but is that correct?

Kaji,

We do not bring 100% of ICs to temperature to test thermal shutdown.

Thermal shutdown is mature technology and guaranteed by design not test.
