If you do not need the internal current limiter of LM5022,can CS pin be left NC or pulled to GND?
This to save footprint and cost.

Thanks for reaching out with your question and for considering the LM5022 in your design .
The LM5022 should still have the current sense resistor even if the current limit feature is not needed. The main reason is that the control loop of the LM5022 is peak current mode control. Removing the current sense resistor will change the control loop and the design might not be stable
