TL431: Maximum value of the current flowing into the REF pin

I previously asked the TL431 REF pin in the following thread.
Among them, I received the answer that the maximum rated value that flows into the REF pin is 10mA.
Again, as shown in the figure below, is the maximum rated value flowing into the REF pin 10mA?

The reason I am asking this question is that there is a product called TA76431 made by TOSHIBA, but TOSHIBA gives the exact opposite answer.
TA76431 is a shunt regulator, and the internal structure seems to be the same as TL431.
The figure below shows the rated data of TA76431, which states that -IREF is 10mA and that the current value flowing out of the pin is 10mA.

    Yes your arrow is correct.

    We define IREF as current into the pin. The REF pin has an NPN as the input which takes in current.

    The REF pin is a input pin so the IREF has to be positive for input current. I do cannot comment on Toshiba.
