Hello everyone
Hello,
The inrush current will be at its worse value when Vin = Ven because the source supply has to charge up both Cin and Cout, as well as deliver any load current that is necessary during turn on. The inrush will be less than this if you enable the LP5907 after Vin has reach steady state. The exact value of the inrush will depend on the value of Cin and Cout. If Cin is large with respect to Cout then much of the inrush current is handled by the transfer of charge from Cin to Cout, and the peak inrush will be lower from the source supply.
The part number provided (LP5907MFX-3.0 / NOPB) is a fixed 3V output with steady state tolerances of +/- 2%. As shown below the maximum Vin is 6V and the recommended max is 5.5V.
Thanks,
- Stephen
