    Hello,

    The LM5021 is a fixed frequency PWM controllers that uses OPTO feedback.  This device does not have input under voltage protection or output over voltage protection.   I don't believe their is an application note on how to do this discreatly.

    However we have UCC28742 DCM flyback controller that input under voltage protection and output over voltage protection that is built in to the controller.  It uses the aux winding to detect the input voltage and output voltage through the Np/Na and Na/Ns transformer turns ratio.
