TPS565201: Is there any restriction on TPS565201 Cout max value?

Hi team,

My customer is developing TPS565201. To improve the load transient response, they want to add a very large value Cout(hundreds of uF) at TPS565201output. So I just want to check with you is there any restriction on TPS565201 Cout max value? Will a very large value Cout influence its loop stability? Thanks.

    Hi Wayne, 

    yes, a very large value Cout will influence loop stability. Inductor and Cout together decide double pole frequency.  when you use a large Cout, please decrease inductance at the same time. the system will still be stable.
