UCC28070: Bridgeless circuit using resistor + OPAMP instead of current transformer for detection

Part Number: UCC28070

Hi,

I would like to create a bridgeless circuit using UCC28070.
However, I refer to the reference design TIDA-0130 and use a resistor + OPAMP instead of a current transformer for detection.
(question 1)
Is it possible to create a bridgeless circuit even if a resistor + OPAMP is used instead of a current transformer for detection?
(Question 2)
If the above is possible, I would like to ask you about Rsyn's formula.
Below is the thread I posted.
Could Rsyn's formula use the same formula from the previous thread's answer in the circuit I'm planning to create this time?

Best regards,
