TPS7A24: Recommended Feedforward Cap Values

Hi team,

What are the recommended CFF values? These values are not listed in the recommended operating conditions table as on the datasheet. I can only find CFF = 10nF in Figure 16.

Hi PengYu,

We do not have any special requirements or recommendations for the feed-forward cap (Cff) used with TPS7A24, however in general we recommend between 10nF and 100nF.

Adding a Cff can help improve transient response, PSRR, and Noise, and we have an app note on the pros and cons of using a Cff with an LDO if you are interested in learning more.

Got it, thanks! The screen capture in the original post is not shown properly. I believe you may want to update the datasheet by removing or modifying the highlighted sentence below, as there is no recommended Cff values listed in the recommended operating conditions table.

Ah I see where the confusion is, I'll let the team know who support this device that the PDS has some conflicting info which can cause confusion.
