Hi,

I did some tests on TPS26630-33EVM board. I'm using DC load and battery. EVM is not latching-off like overcurrent fault while undervoltage stage. When I disconnect the load, voltage getting higher. If EVM is going to overcurrent fault, I need the use the button for reset. I want to use the same feature for undervoltage fault.

Thanks for reaching out.

Our devices does not latch off for under voltage fault. The devices resumes operation as soon as it comes out of under voltage stage.

Hi Alikaan,

We don't have devices which can latch off for under voltage fault.

As you mentioned "When I disconnect the load, voltage getting higher" - looks like the problem is due to path impedance. Can you increase the capacitance on load side or source side to absorb the voltage disturbance during load changes and test ?

Hi,

It's not about step responses for the load changes. When voltage low enough for the UV value, controller turning off the mosfets but when mosfets turned off, battery voltage is getting higher because of nature of battery. Do you have any device for adjusted hysteresis value ?

Please use LM5069 controller for wide UVLO hysteresis as per Figure-31 in the datasheet.
