LMG5200: Turn-on Slew Rate Control

Part Number: LMG5200

Hi Team,

I am been looking into several e2e discussion about LMG5200 slew rate control. Is there any way to limit the turn-on slew rate? From the application circuitry and block diagram I could tell putting a resistor in series with Cboot is a common technique used in Si MOS. I am not sure if it would also work for LMG5200. Could you share some insights?

Best Regards,

Peiheng.

  • Hi Peiheng,

As for now I'm not aware of a method for slew rate adjustment for LMG5200 as the driver is integrated. Could you provide more information about why you want to slow down the slew rate? Also can you elaborate on the method of adding a resistor in series with Cboot? That could limit the inrush current to charge the bootstrap circuit, but I'm not sure how that will affect the slew rate.

    Thanks.

    Regards,
