I have completed learning up to Update status 0E.

Hello Yongki,

As mentioned in the linked post, can you share the GPCCHEM report? Also if you have already completed a learning cycle then you have already found a chemID match. Are you seeing any errors in SOC?

Also you cannot request chem IDs on the forum, you must go through your assigned FAE.

Hi Keller

At first, I entered the CHEM ID of another cell and did learning. Of course, learning failed.

Still, the completed data was entered into the GPC TOOL and a recommendation ID was received.

I used that ID to learn and succeed. In this case, is there no need for CELL's unique CHEM ID?

Hello Yongki,

That's correct, chemID 3518 is a good fit for the cell you're using so a new ID is not needed to accurately track your battery's capacity.

Okay, I understand

I have some questions.

- Can you determine if 3518 is the right ID based on what value in the report? And how much should the values match?

- What exactly does CHEM ID do? Is this the basis for extracting data for the first time?

Hello Yongki,

If the DOD error is low (usually below 5% error) then it is a good match. The report shows 1.89% error so it is a very good match.

The chemID is basically a look-up table of DOD and OCV values we use along with the impedance track algorithm to gauge the batteries capacity.

Hello Yongki,

The battery description does not matter, as long as the GPCCHEM tool matched the ID for you it should work with your system.
