LP5907: The difference between Iq and Ignd

Hi team,

I am checking LP5907 datasheet. In my previous thinking, Iq is the Ignd when there is no load. But I found in LP5907 datasheet, the Iq and Ignd spec is as below:

The test condition of Iq and Ig is the same but they have a different value. This is confusing me. So could you please help explain why Iq and Ig are different when Iout=0mA?

Hi Stephen,

I saw the bullets 5 and 6. For item 5, I can understand. But for item 6, I don't quite understand what's the meaning of 'all input voltages applied to the device'. Can you help explain?

Hi Wayne,

There is an enable pin and a Vin pin. Note 5 explains the quiescent current on Vin only. Note 6 includes both the EN pin and the Vin pin. Therefore the EN pin will result in a slightly larger current draw, which we see in the snapshot from the EC table that you have provided.
