My customer would like to know more information about the Efficiency of TPS63070. Using this device and with the same circuit as given in the schematic on page 1 of the datasheet and using the recommended components. The input voltage is 3.6V and the output is 3.3V. At low currents (about 4 mA). They are seeing an efficiency of around 50%. Is this correct?
When PS/SYNC is tied high. In Table 7 and Figure 12 it seems to indicate that when PS/SYNC is high the device is in PWM mode and efficiency is very low at low current levels - sub 1mA. While in Figure 13 the efficiency is much higher.
