TPS25940-Q1: Roadmap of Efuse

Part Number: TPS25940-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25947, TPS2595, TPS25982

Hi

I am the FAE supporting China car OEMs, would you please send our roadmap of efuse to wayne.liu@ti.com ? And do you have the features and performance comparison between efuse and traditional fuse? We need this information to convince customer that efuse is a good choice to replace traditional fuse. Thanks.

  • Hi Wayne,

Thanks for reaching out! I will get back to you by tomorrow.

  • Hi Wayne,

    We have a app note

basics of eFuse that talks about challenges and limitations of discrete circuit-protection solutions and discusses how they can be improved with an eFuse.

    Our latest devices:

    1. TPS25947 have back to back fets inside which provide true reverse current protection and input reverse polarity protection

    2. TPS2595 comes in small WSON package and can be used in current upto 4A applications

    3. TPS25982 supports high current application upto 15A

Let me know if this helps. For any further help we can follow up on mail internally.

    Regards

    Kunal Goel
