hello

we have a problem. for some reason when we remove Cdvdt from the efuse, the efuse stops working. its output is not 12V but it seems to be fluctuating between 1V - 2V.

Our circuit is in the attached pix. Furthermore, our load for this efuse is comprised of 1300uF of capacitors and a LTM4676A Power switcher. We have also tried to set this capacitor value to 300pF and it still gets in a weird state.

Only when we put a 0.01uF for Cdvdt does the eFuse work. Unfortunately the ramp up time is too long. this is why we want to DNI this location but the efuse stopped working when we did.

Hi Layne,

Please help with these questions:

1. What is the total output load when CDVDT=open during startup?

2. What is the behaviour of voltage on output pin? Does it reaches 2v and then fluctuates between 1v and 2v?

3. Have you tried with different load of lower value?

4. Can you share waveforms for input pin voltage, output pin voltage and current through TPS25982 device?

5. What is the current limit of supply when testing?
