TPS4H160-Q1: Strange/unwanted behavior

Part Number: TPS4H160-Q1

Hi,

I'm working on a product with several TPS4H160AQPWPRQ1 switches but after doing some testing on our prototype I discovered that it was taking considerably more current than expected and after a couple of hours diagnosing the problem I've found some strange behavior on these switches.

I attach a schematic of my configuration. All inputs are disconnected  (pulled down) and all outputs are floating as well. PWR_IN is ~30V. There is a pull_up on "FAULT_4ch" on a different page.

If I power the circuit as it stands I get a current draw of 23+mA (0.7W!!), after playing with the circuit I discovered the following:

- If I load the outputs, the current drawn by U1 drops to a more acceptable level of ~3.5mA

- Same happens if I disable diagnostics (pull DIAG_EN low).

- If I remove pull-up resistors R2-R4 the problem is still there.

- If I remove pull-up resistor R1 ONLY current drops again.

After these tests it looks that there is some strange interaction between channel 1 and the diagnostics circuit. What can be causing this? What can you suggest to fix this issue?
