I have seen T.I. product-portfolio and get the IC -BQ501210(wireless power transmitter,15 watts, WPC 1.2.2 ).

Can you please let me know, it can support Single- Coil Multiple Device Resonance Charging.

Also, if TI has another IC for resonant wireless charging(15watt output, WPC 1.2.2), kindly send me the detail.

Hello

The bq501210 (or other TI device) will not support resonance charging.

WPC has not added resonance charging at this time (WPC 1.2).

Can we use same transmitter coil for charging a smartphone and smartwatch? I mean dimension of transmitter coil vary if we charge smartwatch

Hello

"Can we use same transmitter coil for charging a smartphone and smartwatch?" -- This will depend on the smartwatch coil and design. Standard Qi TX coil is large and AC field is large, compare this with the typical RX coil which is much smaller an a couple of problems show up. Coil to coil coupling is a problem due to the ratio of the two coils (low efficiency) and more of the metal in the watch is in the AC field (heating). Both problem can be solved but will need attention early in design process.

A smaller TX coil can be used but this will be non-Qi and is a customer design.

Thank you for helping us.

We want to implement free positioning wireless charging in our project(Power Bank).

Is this is possible, without resonance? If, please suggest us Coil(A6..??) and Ic's (15watt).
