TLV702-Q1: Maximum Output current

Part Number: TLV702-Q1

Hi,

Max output current is estimated 305mA on my customer's circuit.

Should I promote TLV702-Q1 though output current may over recommended condition?

My customer requirements are follows;

- VIN=3V~3.6V

- VOUT=1.25V or  1.3V

- IOUT = 305mA

    Hi Kuramochi-san,

    TLV702-Q1 was designed, tested, and characterized for operation up to 300 mA of load which is why 300 mA is the rated current. While the customer may find TLV702-Q1's performance adequate for their application at 305 mA of load, the performance may fall outside of the Electrical Characteristic Table specifications. We would recommend promoting an LDO with a rated current of 305 mA or higher so that their application is within the recommended operating conditions of the device.
