LM5018: Absolute Maximum Ratings (SW to RTN)

Hi Team,

Absolute Maximum Ratings of SW to RTN shows the following.

On the other hand, LM5018EVM user's guide shows the following SW waveform and it exceeds VIN+0.3V in obvious.

How should we think it?
The background of the question is I heard SW to RTN voltage exceeds Absolute Maximum Ratings(Vin+0.3V) in my customer's application.

Hello,

SW node voltage overshoot is mitigated by reducing the switching loop parasitic inductance. The key is to locate the input cermic capacitor close to the VIN pin of the IC. For more detail, please see:
