LMG3410-HB-EVM: Access to Library Files

Part Number: LMG3410-HB-EVM

Hi,

I bought the  LMG3410-HB-EVM Half-Bridge and LMG34XXBB-EVM Breakout Board EVM. I'm trying to use parts of these to build a pcb of my own. The altium files online seem to be read only, and I don't have access to the pcb libraries or schematic library. Specifically, I was wondering I could be provided the libraries below, since I'm trying to save some time, and building these connectors on my own may be risky. (If it's easier I could search through all the files you have for these two parts and find it myself.)

Libraries/part:

Connectors_Mill_Max.IntLib

Connectors_Molex.IntLib

Pin Receptacle, .032-.046" .075" Dia, Gold// TH 0312-0-15-15-34-27-10-0// Mill-Max

Receptacle, 2.54mm, 6x1, Gold, TH 448120024 Molex

Thanks!

Harish

  • Hello Harish,

Thanks for your interest. Did you register for ti.com? I think all the files are open and can be modified. Also I am sorry that we do not provide the PCB libraries for the components that you mentioned.

    Thanks and regards,
    Lixing
  • Hi Lixing,

Thanks for your quick reply. I have registered and downloaded the cad files for both the daughter card and break out board mentioned. (called snor009a and snor010 zip files). They have the project files, and I can edit- but it is of no use since I don't have any of the library files (both schematic and footprint) In some other designs TI does provide them. "Also I am sorry that we do not provide the PCB libraries for the components that you mentioned." - Just want to clarify...you're saying that you won't be able to give me all the files associated with that design(including all schlib and pcblib)? The components I need are 3rd party components, so would it be possible to give just those?

    Thanks!
    Harish
  • Hi Harish,

In TI we have our own library and we are not able to share it with you. However, if you open the Altium file, with PCB and schematics, Altium provides you a function to make the libraries from the existing PCB and schematics. This is the method that you can leverage. If you also need 3rd party component library, you can talk to the designated manufacturers. Also it is not very hard to create a footprint or symbol on your own.

    Thanks and regards,
    Lixing
  • Hi Lixing,

Thanks. I know its easy to make. The components I needed are specific power connectors and receptacles, which aren't the standard shape and so I didn't want to make a mistake in the interest of time.

    I'll try the altium thing.

    Thanks!
    Harish
