TPS62095: SS pin voltage

Part Number: TPS62095

Hi team,

Just want to check with you about the SS pin voltage after powering up? According to the datasheet, the typical SS voltage is 1.25V.

However, according to the customer's test, the SS pin voltage is 5V. Customer test 5 pcs board, the results are the same.

Thanks

Dongbao

  • Hi Dongbao,
it looks like a systematic measurement error. Could you check, where exactly the customer measures the 5V. could you share the layout?
I can see there is a 5V input source on the schematic

    Thanks
    Sabrina
  • Hi Sabrina,

It's true that SS will follow Vin, i also checked in the EVM.

In the datasheet, it's not clear enough that SS follows Vin after the output is stable. 1.25V is not the supposed voltage after power up, 1.25V is just the point that the output voltage reached the set point.

Please make it more clear in the next version datasheet.
