EV2400: EV2400 not working with windows 10

Hi,

We just bough EV2400 and BQ35100EVM to evaluate the battery fuel gauge.

However, on windows 10 neither the EV2400 updater works or Battery Management Studio.

When trying to run update I get the following message:
Error: No Free EV2400s Detected. If one is connected but the LEDs are not on, try running this program with the -s option.

All LEDs are on.

And the answer here about using W7, doesn't work in our case, computers don't come with W10 anymore.

Hi Raivis,

There is a new version of the EV2400 firmware that should be released to ti.com soon. This version might address the issue you are seeing. I will send you a private message to get you access to the new version.

Hello, I debug BQ25890EVM with EV2400, but EV2400_Support_Components_20110524 given in the specification book cannot be installed, the computer system is WIN10, may I ask what is the reason?

Hi Vien,

I am not familiar with the BQ25890EVM - this is supported by a different team. The User's Guide for this EVM says to use the EV2300, so it is not clear if the EV2400 also is compatible.

Can you start a different thread with BQ25890EVM in the title? This will get the thread assigned to the correct team that can help you.

The EV2400 and bq25890-evm are provided by TI staff in China. I can add bq25890-evm in the title to attempt if it can solve my confusion.
